OPERATIONAL RISK ANALYST- DUE DILIGENCE – $150K
Excellent opportunity for an operational risk analyst to supplement the firm’s current resources, in relation to the in-depth evaluation of hedge fund managers. Responsibilities include operational due diligence of hedge fund managers in which this global fund of fund has investments or plans to invest. Participate in management meetings, site visits and actively contribute to industry views on operational and legal issues. Disseminate operational risk knowledge to the Investment Team. Lead continuous monitoring activities in invested and invest able funds on operational and organizational issues (non-investment aspects).
Requirements:
3-4 years minimum risk analysis experience in a similar role or alternatively would have worked for one of the big 4 accountancy practices with an audit background and some experience in analysis of hedge funds. An in-depth understanding of hedge fund strategies and risk management methodologies. Familiarity with back or middle office operations and systems and an understanding of risk management would also be an advantage. Strong educational qualifications, ideally in a quantitative discipline,
able to communicate at all levels with confidence. Must be able to show a genuine interest in the Hedge Fund Industry.
