LC/TRADE FINANCE-COMMERCIAL AND STANDBY LETTER OF CREDIT SPECIALIST – $65K
The desired individual will have 5 to 10+ years of experience handling the processing of Commercial and Standby letter of credit transactions, responsible for issuing/amending Standby/Documentary Letter of Credits, versed in the checking of documents under the L/C, and able to determine compliance with L/C terms and conditions and insure proper approvals are in place. Additionally, the desired individual will be the responsible for communicating with Account Officers, Applicants/Clients, Beneficiaries/Agents, and Financial Institutions and have a thorough knowledge of Trade Finance Rules and Guidelines (UCP 600, ISP98 with URC 525 a plus). Experience abiding by all covenants of the Bank Secrecy Act and any other U.S. related Regulations designed to protect the U.S. financial system from money laundering, terrorist financing and other illicit financial transactions is necessary. Strong communication skills and the ability to act as a team player is desirable in this professional working environment.
