AVP – CREDIT/FINANCIAL ANALYST – $130K
Excellent Established International Finance and Banking institution with a strong track record seeks an experienced credit analyst with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of credit analysis experience within the international banking or commercial banking arena with leveraged credit market experience. The desired individual will be responsible for maintaining and developing credit review materials and working with the Portfolio Managers on new transactions and the existing portfolio which requires strong financial and business analysis skills along with the ability to monitor the portfolio and assess risk in developing new business.
Desired Skills and Experience
The desired individual will be responsible for financial modeling, preparing projections, working with the portfolio managers in credit write-ups, evaluating the credit quality of new deals, and testing repayment ability from cash flows under varying assumptions and stress cases. The preferred candidate will work with Agent banks and analysts in coordination with the PMs to gain the essential credit and market information necessary to evaluate credits for new and existing business. Ability to accompany to bank meetings, maintain proprietary system ratings, and maintain updated portfolio ratings is necessary. Responsibilities include the ability to prepare quarterly and annual credit reviews, watch list reports, and other periodic borrower and portfolio reports for Corporate Finance, in coordination with PMs. A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business with MBA preferred. Credit training, the ability to think flexibly about the relationship between numbers projections and business risks, and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel is necessary. The selected candidate will work with a range of levels of management and staff and be able to interface effectively with Agent Banks, market or credit analysts.
