Vice President of Operations Planning – $140,000

Leading global finance and banking firm seeks a Vice President of Operations Planning. The Vice President of Operations Planning assigns work when appropriate, tracks scheduled project tasks on internal and external reporting systems through to their completion, and insures the product is done accurately and timely. Responsibilities include management of the IT budgetary process, project and non-project related asset budget, expense budgeting, and the performance of analysts in the immediate area. The candidate will arrange interviews and meetings to determine needs and requirements, keep abreast of all applicable regulatory banking rules and regulations, and perform all other duties as assigned by the President. Additionally, the General Compliance responsibilities, including compliance monitoring and reporting of potentially suspicious business activities and operations are necessary. The desired candidate needs to exhibit best practice risk management skills through effective internal risk controls, risk monitoring, risk assessment and improvement of risk management processes. Other specific type of risks applicable to the risk management responsibilities are associated with credit risk, market risk, liquidity risk, operational risk, legal/compliance risk, reputational risk and information security risk.

The selected candidate will have a Business specific college degree good oral and written communication skills and good knowledge of finance fundamentals and mathematics. Good PC skills, including some familiarity of project management software such as Microsoft Office Applications or Basic Project Management Software, is also necessary for the position.
