VENDOR RISK MANAGEMENT – $100K
Leading global finance and banking firm seeks a bright Risk Management Professional with 3 years of related experience handling vendor risk assessments, risk reporting, risk management, vendor inspections, and issue resolution in the banking industry. The preferred individual will collect and analyze data for MIS Reporting, and perform vendor risk assessment and risk management. The position is responsible for the review of Operational Security, Business Continuity and Regulatory Compliance measures for vendors, and coaching of business representatives on vendor procurement, selection and contracting. The ability to report on vendor metrics to auditors, and regulators and write risk reports and implement remediation plans and responses is necessary.
The desired candidate will have 3 plus years of vendor risk assessment and management experience in the banking, securities or a related industry with some additional Audit exposure a plus but not necessary( Security Policy, Access Control, Communications and Operations, Incident Management, Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery, Cloud, Asset Management and Information Security). Experience using industry applications, the ability to perform compliance testing and a good understanding of general banking industry regulations is necessary.
