Senior Vice President – Control Risk – Regulatory Operations

 Job Description

 Established leading global banking and financial services group seeks a Senior Vice President of Control Risk with a minimum of 5-7 plus years Control Risk, regulatory compliance operations and some Trade Finance experience to address regulatory requirements, present operations controls, and improve client service levels in working with Business Unit Front Office managers. This established award winning institution and business group continues to build a world class organization and business and desires a professional with the ability to understand processes, regulatory issues, improve MIS, add value and provide alternatives in the operations risk management, control, and process review area. Control/Risk experience, and Trade Finance exposure necessary with knowledge of Regulatory Compliance FED call reporting, FATCA, SEC or bank/broker regulations a big plus. MIS, Control review, management, and Project management skills desired. Excellent exposure, visibility and strong career growth for the selected candidate.

 Desired Skills and Experience

 The desired candidate will have a minimum of 5-7 plus years of Control Risk experience and Trade Finance exposure with the ability to address regulatory requirements, present operations controls, and lead detailed process review, control review and self-assessment. The preferred candidate will be able to manage, evidence and present the level of compliance with bank and departmental policies associated with Regulatory risk. Experience working with Business Unit Front Office management in identifying and managing risk associated with Regulatory FATCA(a plus but not necessary), Tax, SEC, Bank or Broker Dealer audit and reporting issues is necessary. Ability to present operations controls and understand process flows necessary. The Control Risk Senior Vice President will make use of their MIS data management skills encompassing KPI reporting review and compilation, client service metrics development and tracking, and dashboard development. Regulatory and control experience with Trade Finance Operations business knowledge or experience is desired but not necessary.
