MUNICIPAL FINANCE, CREDIT RISK MANAGEMENT – VICE PRESIDENT – $140K

Major International Bank and Finance Group seeks a Vice President of Municipal Finance and Credit Risk Management with a minimum of 10 years of experience in performing credit review of the portfolio following internal procedures and regulatory requirements with knowledge of both GO and revenue bonds from credit perspective. Responsibilities include the identification of distressed credits, utilization of credit risk methodologies and credit modelling, and conducting comprehensive analyses of muni finance credits within portfolio of state and local governments, utilities, housing, education, transportation, special tax, credits, etc. The desired candidate will utilize in-house rating tools and/or a formal review concluding with a rating recommendation and rationale, ensure that reviews and credit requests needing approval outside the normal rating tools, develop and maintain internal risk and rating methodologies, and report on specific sensitive credits for Watch List and Quarterly Review transactions. The desired individual will possess qualifications that includes a College degree, although a Master’s degree is preferred.
