FINANCIAL CONTROL/REGULATORY REPORTING ACCOUNTANT – $90K+
Leading International Banking seeks a Financial Control/ Regulatory Reporting Accountant with 3-5 years of experience in Financial Control, Financial Analysis, and Financial Reporting. Responsibilities include preparation of financial statements and financial reports along with conducting analysis for Management, Head Office, Treasury, and Corporate Department, preparing analytical/cost accounting reports and regulatory reports, and providing financial information on P&L projects. The desired individual will possess qualifications/experience in accounting preferably acquired in a financial institution.
Qualifications
3 years of experience
Accounting experience in a financial institution
Experience with financial control, financial analysis and financial reporting
Advanced MS Excel skills
Motivated individual with ability and willingness to work in a multi-functional environment.
Exposure to financial instruments (knowledge of asset backed securities/mortgage backed securities and derivatives a plus but not required)
Experience in U.S regulatory reporting with IFRA a plus
Description of Responsibilities
Assist in preparing financial statements under IFRS
Assist in preparing various financial reports and analysis for Management, Head Office, Treasury, and Corporate Departments
Assist in preparing analytical / cost accounting reports
Assist in preparing regulatory reports
Perform various internal controls
Provide financial information on P&L projections
Participate in the preparation of budgets
Participate in developing, upgrading and testing of the bank/department systems and automated tools, as needed.
