AVP/VP – INTERNAL AUDIT – $120,000K

Global leader in international banking and finance seeks an AVP/VP – Senior Auditor with a minimum of 3-5 years Bank or Broker Dealer internal/external audit experience preferably with Capital Markets, Financing Activity, Product, Process Control and Risk experience acquired in a financial banking or broker dealer environment.

The AVP/VP and Senior Auditor performs the preliminary assessment of the audited activity and internal control landscape and perform independent testing and analysis on specific controls in order to meet the audit’s objectives. Additionally he/she is responsible for contributing to the drafting of the debriefing presentation and the final report sent to Management, as well as monitoring the closure and application of corrective actions agreed by various business lines. Responsibilities include conducting audit planning and fieldwork in accordance with Internal Auditor methodology and completion within agreed time-frames, preliminary assessment of the audited activity highlighting applicable risks and controls, and the testing and analysis of controls planned during the preliminary assessment. Ability to create clear and precise audit work papers, identify and report audit findings, consider root causes for issues raised, and develop practical solutions and value added recommendations concluding on the effectiveness and efficiency of control and business practices is required. Skills:
A minimum of 3-5 years internal/external audit experience within a Bank, Broker Dealer, or financial institution with experience assessing the audited activities and internal controls, versed in independent testing and analysis on specific controls in order to meet the audit’s objectives. Ability to draft debriefing presentation and final report sent to Management, monitor corrective actions, create clear and precise audit work papers, identify and report audit findings, consider root causes for issues raised, and develop practical solutions and value added recommendations concluding on the effectiveness and efficiency of control and business practices is required. Experience presenting audit conclusions to Audit management, follow-up for monitoring corrective actions, and informing on audit mission status and factors that may potentially affect or delay the audit’s execution is desired. Knowledge and understanding of risk, generated by banking/securities activities and proficiency with data analytics. College Degree with any additional certifications a plus but not necessary (CPA, CIA, or CISA) with an understanding of capital markets, financing activities preferred.
